It gets lonely out there trying to learn doesn't it. I'm in the Daytona area and there are several members listed from this area but I have not seen any posts from them. Guess they are not active anymore. The only trikke I have seen in the area is MINE. Looks like a great day so I will get out and see if I can find a better path to trikke on. Bike Week is over so the roads aren't so crazy. LOT's of Harleys this year.

Maybe now that the weather is getting nicer there will be some posted rides in our areas so we can meet some of the other trikkers and get some carving tips.

When I demo the trikke, new riders seem to pick up the cadence faster when I tell them to push the handlebar down, left, then right, as opposed to just turning it. By pushing the handlebar down, you are setting up the lean to use your legs in a skating motion, and following the column with your body, NOT standing straight and rigid.

I'm in Lake Mary (an hour from Daytona). There are some very nice trails to ride around Lake Mary. However, I seem to be the only one Trikking. Funny how many people have told me "I see this guy Trikking all the time in Lake Mary." It's me, of course, so apparently even one of us out there is good advertising. I'm up for a group ride if we can put one together!

Yeah, what she said!.......... BJ is the man, and has rides almost every week (during good weather). Check out his website and drop him a PM, email, or call. He will get you going quickly; and we'll see ya'll in the "Opening of the Beaches Parade" (along with 50-100 other Trikkers), showing off our PASSION!!!!!

Good to see another trikker for the Jacksonville area. We are all around now. There are ridders on the Baldwin Trail, all parts of Jax now. Just drop me an email jaxtrikkes@aol.com and glad to put on my email list. We try to have organized rides every Sat - mostly at the beach. Yep today we road around Riverside, did the Riverwalk. Our big event will be coming up in April -- First Coast Trikke Century Ride and Opening of the Beaches Parade -- April 24, 25 -- information online too.

Great way for you to meet other local trikkers.

Jan, Roger and Ivan and I think Joe was here too ! Not on here that much, but appreciate you telling new people about our rides here in Jacksonville. I was trying to send you guys a private message but have to wait 1 minute between sending them and I have to work in the morning hehehehehe. Hopefully this weater has changed and we can all get back out trikking. Guess we are all fair weather trikkers even here in FL ! Hope to see you all April 24 and 25 !!!
